Our Philosophy
At Learning Sanctuary, we believe every child is capable, confident, and full of potential. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and inspired by Montessori principles, we create a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported to grow.

Our Story
Learning Sanctuary is a privately owned and operated early education centre with a warm, personal approach to early childhood learning. Our philosophy blends the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework with the Montessori mythology, brought together through shared values of respect, independence, and child‑led exploration.
We are committed to creating a true sanctuary for learning, a small nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired. Our passionate educators provide high‑quality care and thoughtfully designed learning experiences that honour each child’s individuality, curiosity, and natural desire to grow.
At Learning Sanctuary, we believe that the early years lay the foundation for a child’s confidence, wellbeing, and developing relationship with the world around them. Through meaningful experiences and authentic connections, we support children as they build essential life skills and begin their lifelong journey of learning with joy and confidence
Director’s Message
I bring with me many years of experience from California USA to Sydney Australia. My journey as a Montessori teacher in the US inspired my vision of creating a Montessori Method of Education aligned with Early Years Learning principles in Australia.

Children explore outdoors freely climbing, balancing, gardening, and engaging in imaginative play building confidence,independence, and a deep connection to the natural world. Our educators gently guide and extend learning, supporting children as they grow, discover, and develop a lifelong love for the outdoors.
Indoor Learning Spaces
Our indoor environments are inspired by authentic Montessori principles, offering calm, beautifully prepared spaces that invite children to explore, concentrate, and learn at their own pace. Each room is thoughtfully arranged with purposeful materials at the child’s level to encourage independence, order, and a deep love of learning.
Wellbeing and Safe Spaces
We create calm, nurturing environments where children feel safe, supported, and in control of their emotions. With Montessori‑inspired calming corners, gentle breathing exercises, and children’s yoga, we help little learners build confidence, resilience, and inner peace. Our educators guide with warmth and respect, empowering each child to understand themselves and feel a strong sense of belonging.
